BGN Network Services
Whatever it takes
For one weekend, we connect the centre of the motorsport world to the global IT infrastructure for the world’s most demanding racers, engineers and technicians as they test themselves against their highest ambitions.
Whether it’s Australia or Azerbaijan, Monaco or Malaysia, Silverstone or Singapore – the phones had better work, and the IT network, and the internet, and the full-fat connection to the factory team working back home.
Zero data loss, 100% uptime, maximum capacity. No excuses.
When it comes to the 0.01%, where nothing is left to chance and the difference between success and sucking it up for another season is measured in milliseconds, BGN delivers.
In the days running up to a race, we safely install kilometres of cable in a 300 metre paddock, we connect teams to sponsors to factories to partners to regulators to TV to pit-wall to the world. We build the Tier 1 network, secure its integrity, optimise its performance and manage its resilience – and when the flags stop waving, we tear it all down and do it again next week, in another corner of the world.
We make media and broadcast IT networks as fluid and adaptive as possible, that welcome change, move fast, and let all the people to do all their work no matter where they are.
Working every time the way you want - wherever you are
We understand the network. We understand the special way that the pieces and protocols and service providers all fit together. We understand how to wrangle flexibility and performance from the system. We understand where it helps and where it hinders, and we understand how to make things work just the same.
We build flexible communications networks that are free of the rigidity of the geographical, technological and organisational barriers that can separate teams from their colleagues, systems from data, and decisions from implementation.
Our services include:
Super high-end LAN/WAN networking
Network monitoring and visualisation
Optimisation and acceleration
Live packet analytics and actions
Dual MPLS-core provision
Live Media solutions
WiFi management
We stand for infrastructure, applications, engagement

Infrastructure
It starts with mastering the Infrastructure.
The technologies that enable the global communications infrastructure are a buzzword-bingo of network-speak. From LAN, WAN, IP, Server clusters, and Cat7 cabling, to MPLS, VPLS, Cloud, warehouse data-centres and the fibre optic backbones that make the world go around.
We understand the network. We understand the special way that the pieces and protocols and service providers all fit together. We understand how to wrangle flexibility and performance from the system. We understand where it helps and where it hinders, and how to make things work just the same.
And for most organisations, that’s enough.
Not for our customers.
Getting the infrastructure working is one thing. Getting it working the way you want it – every time, wherever you are – is a whole different don’t-drop-the-ball game.

Applications
Every team, every user – each with their own systems and networks built to solve their own special requirements – use common protocols used for common goals but with different applications and competing objectives. No two requirements the same, no two networks the same.
Demand spinning up and down at the click of a mouse or the drop of a flag. Every change impacting every other system.
We specialise in optimising traffic and balancing capacity. We track down issues, trace every packet to find the road-hogs and move them or smooth them to open up bandwidth and maximise the flow for critical data. We run reports, make recommendations and make sure that every application is running at maximum potential.
The end game: one team, spread across five continents, looking at the same data in real time.

Engagement
What can you do when your systems are live:live?
When you command every packet of data, getting it into the right hands at the right time is less about what’s possible, and more about what’s strategic.
We work with our customers to find new ways of using their networks to open up operational and marketing opportunities.
Moving data and images freely to multiple locations in real time enables better and faster decision making in those moments when you need every ounce of brain and computing power working on a single problem. Every engineer, every technician, everyone in the chain – working together.
Game changing ideas often start as nice-to-have wish lists. “What if we could…? How about running the feed to…? Marketing have an idea that…Sponsors have requested....”
Our question: In an ideal world, how would you like to use the data?
